The Sándor Demján 1+1 SME Investment Stimulation Support Program is an unprecedented success among Hungarian businesses. According to the latest data, 25 billion forints have already been paid out in the program, which has provided concrete assistance to 250 businesses in implementing their investments.

The popularity of the program is clearly demonstrated by the fact that 1,325 businesses received a positive signal in the application, and the government increased the initial 48 billion forints budget to 130 billion forints due to the high interest. Businesses submitted a total of 137 billion forints of applications, which is three times more than the number of applications.

The support can be applied for between 5 and 200 million forints and can be used primarily for equipment purchases, modernization, modernization or green transition. It is particularly important that the majority of applications came from rural and underdeveloped regions, which shows that the support is truly utilized where it is needed most.

The entire Demján Sándor Program mobilizes 1,400 billion forints in the form of loans, grants, EU co-financing and equity financing. According to experts, this program could contribute 1.5 percent to economic growth, which could have a significant impact on the Hungarian economy.
