According to a recent study, the vast majority of Hungarian manufacturing SMEs, 86%, plan some kind of technological development in the next 3-5 years. Another 12% would like to develop, but do not have the opportunity to do so.
The study highlights that the Hungarian SME sector is committed to technological development. Companies have recognized that digitalization and automation are key to maintaining competitiveness. Development plans include the modernization of production processes, the introduction of digital solutions and the increase in automation.
This trend is in line with government efforts to support the technological renewal of SMEs through the Demján Sándor Program and other forms of support. The developments not only serve to increase efficiency, but also contribute to strengthening the long-term competitiveness of the Hungarian economy.
