Not traffic — revenue-generating conversions. If you can't answer this instantly, this is your very first task, because without it you're spending blind. Is conversion tracking set up correctly in GA4? At most Hungarian companies, conversion events either get counted twice or aren't recorded at all. Faulty measurement is worse than none, because it leads to bad decisions. Do you know your Cost Per Lead, and are you tracking how it changes? If it rises 30% in a month, something's broken — and Q4's increased competition is exactly when leads can get more expensive. Block 2 — Ad accounts Are your ad accounts ready for Q4's increased traffic and competition? In Q4, ad auctions get tighter and click costs rise. Anyone who doesn't adjust their strategy ends up paying more for the same result. Is there enough budget planned for the seasonal peak? Q4 isn't the month where your budget runs out mid-month. Plan the budget and its allocation ahead of time. Are your ad creatives fresh? Summer creatives get tired by fall. It's worth going into Q4 with fresh, seasonally relevant assets so performance doesn't drop. Block 3 — Website and conversion How fast does your website load on mobile? If it's more than 3 seconds, half your visitors leave before seeing anything. With Q4's higher traffic, this hurts many times over. Is the conversion path on your website clear? Can a visitor figure out in 5 seconds how to get in touch or make a purchase? If not, you'll lose even the people you worked hard to attract. Do your forms work, and have you tested them recently? It's surprisingly common for a quote-request form to break after a website update — and no one notices until the leads simply stop coming in. Block 4 — Strategy and content Do you have a concrete plan for Q4, or are you firing off ad-hoc campaigns? Without a unified strategy, your resources get scattered, and in the end you won't be able to say what actually worked. Do you have a content calendar for the coming months? In Q4 there's no time to come up with every post at the last minute. Planning ahead makes you more consistent and less stressed. Do you know the most common Q4 mistake, and are you prepared for it? The most common mistake: companies "pause" marketing over the summer, then have to rebuild momentum and audience from zero in the fall — at exactly the worst moment. Whoever stayed consistently present now has the advantage. How to use the checklist Go through the 12 points and mark each one: in good shape, partially in place, or missing.
